We’re doing something a little disruptive, and I am genuinely excited to tell you about it because it has been way too long since we did something this fun and this loud. Chalk Ink® is heading to the Great American Beer Festival! The weekend of October 10th and 11th, we will be in Denver, set up outside of the pavilion with somewhere around 250 breweries, and we are going to have a booth that I honestly cannot wait for people to walk up on and go, wait, what is happening here.

Here's the thing about beer festivals. Everybody is there to have a good time, and that energy is exactly the kind of thing Chalk Ink® was built for. We are not a quiet, sit in the corner kind of brand. We are the brand that shows up with color and a little bit of chaos and a lot of heart, and this felt like the perfect place to let that side of us out.

What We Are Actually Calling This Thing

We are calling it Peace, Love, and Beer. Chalk Ink® meets the Rocky Mountains, a little hippie, a little crunchy, and honestly a lot of fun to plan. I keep picturing tie dye and chalk dust and everyone just having a good time outside, and that is exactly the vibe we are chasing. We wanted something that felt like it belonged in Colorado, not something we just dropped in from wherever and hoped would land.

Let's Talk About the Van

So part of this whole plan, and honestly my favorite part, is that we rented a Volkswagen Buzz hybrid van. If you know, you know. It is the modern version of the old hippie mobile, and we’re treating it like the centerpiece of the booth. We will have QR codes set up so people can come sign the van, and scanning that code takes you straight to our TikTok page so you can watch the whole thing fill up with signatures over the course of the weekend. It just felt like the right way to bring people into it, let them leave their mark on something, quite literally, on an electric hippie van in the middle of Colorado.

There will be giveaways too, because of course there will. We’re going to be streaming live from the booth all weekend, so even if you cannot make it out to Denver in person, you’re going to be seeing a lot of content coming your way about just how ridiculous and fun we want this to be.

Why Breweries Are Kind of Our People

Now here is a piece of this that means a lot to me personally. Some of our very first original Chalk Ink® customers were breweries. Way back before we were doing beer festivals or big activations or any of it, it was bars and taprooms picking up our markers because they needed something bold and washable and easy for a chalkboard menu that changes every week. So being at this festival, surrounded by hundreds of breweries, feels less like a marketing push and more like a reunion with the people who believed in us early on.

And that is really a shoutout to anyone reading this who has a bar, a cafe, a restaurant, whatever it is. If you have chalkboards, great, we would love to help you make them pop.
